Gardenlicious!

We have a small raised vegetable bed this year. This picture is from a couple of weeks ago, we now have green beans, zucchini and sweet onions growing. You can see our tomatoes and bell peppers in this picture. We are pretty excited about this tiny little garden. ;) I was also excited to have more iris bloom this year. When we moved we left behind all of our garden (which I was able to see for myself looked absolutely beautiful this spring!) and it is really nice to make progress in our new home. :)

Safari days!

We love to visit our local drive through wildlife safari (especially the hiking trails). No matter how many times we have been we always see something new.

Addy and Cally both had awesome dance recitals! Recital week and weekend is busy and a little crazy with two dancers, two different dress rehearsals and two different recitals! It is all worth it to see the girls so excited and proud of how hard they worked all year to make it to the stage. :)

Gateway to the West 5K!

The girls and I tackled a 5K together last weekend. The original plan was for Addy and me to do the 5K and for Cally and David to do the 1 mile together. David had to work so we regrouped and played it by ear. The price was the same for either distance so we just kept going after the mile turn around. As it turns out Cally was more than ready to the full 3.1 miles. Both girls did awesome and we didn't even finish dead last! :) I was super proud of both of my little runners, they both had awesome attitudes the whole time. Our great day was capped off by a rain-soaked parade. What a great Saturday!
