Addy 3, Mamarazzi 0

I couldn't resist capturing Addy's camera avoidance tactics on film. Here is a short video of Addy doing what she does best, well second best to bouncing.

The Power of Cally!

I never would have guessed Addy would be so enthralled by her little sister that she would jump to perform her every whim and wish. Luckily for David and me, Cally is very interested in Addy eating all of her macaroni and cheese as well as wearing weather appropriate outfits.

One month of pure Cally joy!

Yesterday was Cally's one month birthday! I took the opportunity to take some photos of Cally while Addy was 'napping' (insert snicker here!) upstairs.

Addy is really in love with Cally, she is so proud to be a big sister.

So, what is next on the agenda?

I will get this thumb in!

Tell me more Mom, this is fascinating

Addy 2, Mamarazzi 0

As soon as Addy sees the camera she screams, I don't NEED a picture! Unfortunately her feelings of mistrust extends to me photographing Cally as well. Oh well, I guess I will have to become creative in trying to get photos of the girls. :)

Easter Egg Hunt III

Yes, even I know this is getting silly, I mean how many ways can Addy pick up an Easter Egg? So I will make this short and sweet, here are the last Easter 2009 pictures I will post. Enjoy! :)

Sisters!!!

David and I are both so proud our our little girls. Although, Addy always reminds us that she is already BIG.

Here is Cally at around 3 weeks, she weighed 9.1 at her 3 week check up

Here is her big sister Addy at about the same age. Addy weighed 9.10 at her 3 week check up

Addy had so much more hair than Cally does, but they have the same sweet cheeks. :)

Easter Egg Hunt II

Finally, here are the pictures from our town's big Easter Egg hunt. Addy has a blast, the weather was fantastic- all of the chocolate in the eggs was melted. :)

Here is Addy planning her attack

And the hunt is on!

Egg coloring with Daddy!

All day Saturday Addy protested each and every photo we took of her.

Easter Egg Hunt I

One of our local playgroups is blessed to have a very well organized and thoughtful mom (yes, I am calling you out Kristi!) who shared a fun morning of Easter Egg Hunting and strawberry shortcake eating. Here are a few pictures. :)

On the hunt:

I love this group shot! I wish I had recorded the posing process. The kids were not at all interested in a group shot. :)

I think Addy was the only child who was able to ingest all of her candy before playgroup was over. Addy is such an over-achiever. :)

Another afternoon at 'dinosaur museum'

One of Addy's favorite places to visit is the 'dinosaur museum'. Normally David doesn't get to come with us, but because he is home on vacation we let him tag along. ;) Addy had a blast showing her Daddy all of her favorite exhibits.

Run Bandit Run!!!

Bandit is Addy's favorite cat. Bandit absolutely hates Addy, she isn't mean to Addy but with a cat it is easy to tell when they don't care for someone. Jiffy loves Addy and is a great playmate for Addy while Bandit is a great challenge for Addy. Usually Addy doesn't even come close to conquering Bandit, but this day she sure came pretty close! I am still not sure how she did it, maybe Bandit was asleep?

Thanks Mom!

We were very fortunate to have my mom come stay with us and help us to adjust to becoming a family of four. Here are a few pictures from when my mom was here.

One of the requirements to staying at the Musserton household is to take the official oath and become a Husker fan. Luckily my mom was happy to do so. :)

The Musserton-mobile

Here is our new family ride! Addy and Cally both love it, but so far I have proven to need more practice with it. I somehow freed one of the front wheels the first time I opened it by myself. Oh well, Addy and Cally are pretty patient so we were quickly on our way.
