Cally is 3 months old!
Yay! I can't believe how wonderful it is to have two little girls. I am also constantly amazed at how much love Addy has for Cally, likewise it is great to see Cally turn her head to Addy's voice. We have learned more about Cally's food intolerances. They are unfortunately more severe than we originally thought. We have about a month to get her GI tract healed before we have to go a different route. Currently, I am doing the Total Elimination Diet (TED as it is affectionately known) to try to identify what else is causing Cally problems. Wish us luck because it is not an easy meal plan. The good news is that Cally is still gaining weight and continuing to thrive. She is an adorable little girl and David and I are so blessed to have such wonderful little girls.

The Importance of Mommy
Addy and I hit the road yesterday for a mommy and daughter adventure. David and Cally stayed home to manage our kitties, Jiffy and Bandit. As we made the turn onto the main street here in town Addy says to me, 'Daddy doesn't want to take care of Cally'. I chuckled and told Addy that, 'Daddy will be just fine with Cally'. Addy wasn't convinced though and elaborated, 'Daddy can't feed Cally. His nurries (female anatomy responsible for nursing a baby) aren't big enough'. I really started to laugh at this and said, 'well you are right about that, Daddy's nurries can't get the job done!' I have no idea what David and I did for entertainment before kids...

Lets Build a Word!
I was in the nursery feeding Cally when Addy coming out of the closet asked, where do we keep our letters. Um, our letters?, I asked. Addy replied, yes, our letters, I need to build a bigger hat. Ah, yes our letters. We keep our letters on the fridge, but in World Word letters are kept in closets.

Sand in the City
In our quest to explore family fun activities we hit up the Sand in the City experience. Addy was thrilled to see some of her favorite movie scenes recreated in one of her favorite playtime medias, sand.
Here is one for our buddies Emily and Matty

Wall-E, Addy wanted to know where Eve was

Addy also became the proud owner of a couple balloons

Caroline and the famous Bjorn!
If you ever go into a mall or any type of big shopping plaza you will likely see a mom or dad (hint, hint David) wearing their little one in a Baby Bjorn. They are a pretty popular main stream baby carrier. I decided to try using one. So far I have only used it twice out in the yard but maybe I will start to use it more now that Cally is getting so big. Here are a few pictures of the famed Baby Bjorn.
David was a little surprised to see that the Baby Bjorn is so famous that it actually glows but I guess that is what suburban moms like! ;)

My little twin. :)

Cally looks like a tough chic in this picture, your baby better watch it!

Addy's New Do!
Addy said she wanted a more stylized hair fashion. She said she was tired of the cutesy pigatils and ponytails I carefully combed every morning. No more braids she declared to me, so off we went to our local salon. Addy described the angled graduated bob she wanted and snip snip Addy got her wish. :)
